I moved to Tiffin in 2022 with 15 years of experience in alterations while still growing & expanding in skill as a seamstress. I have always been an entrepreneur at heart and finally found my career in 2013.
For 5 years I grew from a 9'x9' room to a storefront downtown St. Clairsville, Ohio, to include dress sales of all kinds. By 2018 I had to let go of the dream due to family needs. My girls were young and my husband was sick. When I moved to Tiffin I was actually thrilled to meet another young seamstress! I met Danielle Park, Owner of Yours With Every Stitch. Danielle said she had to turn down work every day, thus encouraging me to open up shop if i ever desired. I soon rented a small space directly above her at The Laird Building for 1 year until i moved to my current storefront location. I, myself, have been overloaded at times because of the demand for alterations. I work on everyday clothing like hemming pants and repairing zippers in coats, handbags, jeans, etc. as well as formal wear for women and men. So, I am blocking out months where I will only be taking certain alterations. I have a full life here in Tiffin. I'm a wife, mother, business owner, cat lover, and just recently....vespa owner! I look forward to riding around downtown when I allow myself to take a lunch break, so if you see a pink scooter make sure to wave! |
